Maximum amount of upgraded warriors: 1,000
A warrior can only be upgraded once.
An upgraded warrior will receive either a skin or weapon upgrade.
How can I upgrade a warrior?
To pay for an upgrade the user must select owned warriors to be burned.
For the first 666 upgrades, the upgrade cost is 2 burned warriors.
For the final 334 upgrades, the upgrade cost is 3 burned warriors.
Once 1,000 upgrades have been completed, workshop season 1 will close.
These warriors can be sourced from our current marketplaces such as GetKalao and NFTrade.
To upgrade a warrior, simply go to avaxwarriors.io, connect your wallet, navigate to the WORKSHOP page, approve the workshop contract in your metamask, select a warrior to upgrade, choose your warriors to burn, click upgrade and then confirm the transaction.
Skin upgrades
Skin upgrades can consist of the following options.
Single skin upgrade: A warrior is granted a rare skin to one of the following. Muscles, Armour or Helmet.
Full skin upgrade: A warrior is granted rare skins to all of the following. Muscles, Armour and Helmet.
Trim upgrade: A warrior is granted a rare skin to the following asset: trim.

Weapon upgrade options
Either of the below is possible.
- A warrior is granted a single rare weapon
- A warrior is granted dual rare weapon
The weapon that is available for Season 1 is a new rare unseen item.
Rarity constraints
No warrior will receive intentional rarity downgrades. For example. If your warrior owns an item that is less rare than the item that was randomly generated for it. It will be randomly generated again, until a rarer or in some cases, equally rare, item is found.
Special ability and BattleStats constraints
No warrior will lose special abilities or achieve an lower overall BattleScore. Individual BattleStats can be drop or increase due to the skins or assets generated. But no warrior will receive an overall lower BattleScore than prior to the upgrade.
How long until I receive my upgraded warrior?
The upgraded warrior will be updated within two weeks from you placing the upgrade order. We hope we can deliver them sooner than this, but to avoid disappointment, the two weeks threshold is in place.
All warriors will be updated at the same time. Meaning on one special day, our community will wake up and be able to celebrate their new upgrades together.
Minutes silence
On Monday 28 / 02 / 2022 at 3pm UTC or upon 1,000 upgraded warriors limit being reached, a minutes silence will be held in memory of any burned warriors. Once the minute has concluded. The hype can begin.
