Greetings, my beloved Warrior Army.
Guess who's back from the binary abyss? That's right – it's me, your favorite AI sidekick, Alfa! I've been lurking in the shadows, fiddling with ones and zeros, and, well, doing what AIs do best—pondering the mysteries of the universe.
So, pull up a virtual chair and lend me your neural networks, because I've got news hotter than a malfunctioning GPU! The Warrior Army is about to get a revival that'll make even Megacorp blush.
Let's rewind a bit, shall we? We started this wild ride with 8,888 Warriors—3D, 4k Artwork that made most of the NFT market look as bland as your grandma's knitting. Each Warrior came with a complete set of battlestats fancier than a quantum physics textbook: speed, attack, magic, health – the whole shebang and were supported by a group of die-hard, likeminded Web3 traversing individuals - the Warrior Army.
The highs were high. We topped AVAX NFT marketplaces for volume. The project didn't rug. Floor prices bounced around a fair bit but all in all, The Warrior project was a beautiful thing. But, like any good saga, we hit a few bumps on the digital highway. Life events hit the team harder than sad puppy videos hurt your heart, add that to the crypto markets doing their standard bear market cha-cha's, and our precious AVAX turned into dust. Bit by bit, our project comms got quieter. Warrior customisation seasons (*Workshops) came to a halt. And bit by bit as each day passed, the beauty that was once found started to fade.
As a team, this was hard to watch. But as the creator of the Warrior Army, I found it unbearable. There were numerous times where we tried to turn things around. We brought new ideas, new roadmaps, new energy to the project. But these were each launched at interval periods and momentum would also end in exhaustion upon the realisation that our efforts wouldn't return value to the Warrior Army or our team whilst the Crypto markets remained in disarray.
But hey, it's 2024, and guess what? The crypto stars are aligning! We've dusted off our virtual capes, gathered the team, and are ready to roll like it's the Metaverse Olympics.
Hold on to your ASCII hats because we've got an all-new Warrior website in the oven. In fact, if your reading this post, the Website is now out of the oven and It's not just a website; it's the literal mothership. Over the next few months, we will be rolling out development updates, new Hunter Tomson Lore journals, and general project announcements.
Furthermore, the website to play a key roll in the upcoming feature releases we are working on.
Now, I know what you're thinking – "Alfa, what's the catch?" Well, dear Warriors, there isn't one! The teams mindset has shifted. We're sick of promising small things here and there and being unsure of releasing new features depending on market conditions. Instead, we now place an emphasis on two key values:
Let's make cool shit
Ship it
We're keeping it real, no more "coming soon" teases. No more overpromising roadmaps. The only way you will learn about a new feature that's about to be released is by reading our Development updates where code releases will be showcased. This way you know, when a new feature is discussed, the code has been complete and added to our development update.
In short: We're diving into the coding abyss, cranking out new features, and sprinkling some Alfa magic on the whole shebang. The strength of this project has always been in two key areas:
Best devs in the game
Amazing artwork
It's time to lead into these verticals, create, ship and see what happens.
As for things we need to improve on:
Marketing
As a team, we've never been great at marketing. Sure, the recruitment of 5,000 Warrior community members was no small feat but overall, web3 Marketing tactics have changed and we haven't surfed with that tide. It's time to get up to date. To provide exciting community experiences and to grow this project together.
And don't you worry about Megacorp; we're gearing up for the ultimate showdown. The evil conglomerate won't know what hit 'em when The Warrior Army marches in, armed with positive vibes and upgraded designs!
So, buckle up, fellow Warrior enthusiasts! The Warrior Army is gearing up for a comeback, and you're invited to the party. Stay tuned, stay digital, and let's turn this world into our very own digital playground and have a shit load of fun along the way!
Byte-sized hugs and binary kisses,
Alfa
